A Christmas Update...

Well here it is an update from our little corner of the world....
Chase's first Christmas went well.... He slept through the present opening. I suspect that next year will be more intersesting for him....
He is getting to be such a big boy, by the time we were leaving Cranbrook Chase was weighing in at aprox. 15 0r 16 pounds....did I mention...HE IS ONLY 2 AND A HALF MONTHS OLD!!! Crazy!!
Chase got to hang out with Keira for a little while and it was obvious how much more she was interested in him...It was adorable. Keira was so excited to see another "baby" (she is two months older than him) that she was shaking! Chase also saw Jaya this past week. She is such a sweet girl too, when you ask her where the baby is, she giggles!! ~Awww!!
It was great to see Kerry, Terena, & Owen as well, and then we also got to see Brandy, James, & Brooklyn. So many babies...such a short time to visit with them all.
Aside from baby news...Christmas morning was quite a shock, Ian asked me to marry him!! Later that day we also found out that Brad had asked Kris to marry him, and that Curtis had asked Sarah, and Jeremy asked Erica....CONGRATULATIONS to all!! Anyhow it is time for Chase to eat, so I must go...

Public Health Nurse Time Again...

Well yesterday, (Tuesday Dec. 12th) Chase had his two month Doctors apt! He is in the 90th percentile for his weight and height! Just so you can all be amazed at how fast this little man is growing, he weighed in at a whopping 13lbs 1oz!! Yup, he's a good eater!
Today's apt. was with the public health nurse and Chase got his shots. I cried more than he did, in fact he only let out a couple small cries. (The baby before him was screaming...) I even cried before the needle came near him. Yes, I am a wimp...but it's scary to see him be so trusting, and then....FOUR NEEDLES!!!

Dec. 7th/06

I no sooner bragged about the huge sleeps Chase has had, and then he threw me for a loop again! Of course, he does sleep pretty good...But it's been about a week since we have had a 7 or 8 hour night again...He is going through another growth spurt right now, so he is eating all the time and sleeping smaller amounts, but still usually about 4-5 hours. He is a big boy, and getting bigger and bigger all the time. I can't tell you how much my back hurts!! If nothing else this boy will whip me into shape! But he is calling me now, so I must run...

***One more thing, I forgot to mention...Chase laughed for the first time on Dec.4th. (10 days shy of being two months old.)I was blowing on his tummy, and he thought it was hillarious!! I love to hear him laugh***

Such a happy boy!

Chase is such a happy guy most of the time...I have to wonder if it's because he is so well rested!!! (He's been sleeping through the night, 7-8 hours at a time!!) We are so thankful for that!!

I am still waiting on pictures, and of course to hear her name...But She was born on Saturday morning at 9:47am. (Exactly 6 weeks after Chase) She was three weeks early, weighing in at 7lbs 4oz, and 21 1/4" long!! Can't wait to meet her!!

1 Month Apt. ~ Dr. Johannson

Chase went for his one month apt. today and he is now up to a whopping 10lbs 11oz!! (That's my boy!) I am proud to announce that Chase did NOT pee on me at this apt. either! Wow, I guess that could be because he did that already twice today at home! Anyway...She told me he is doing great...AND that she is leaving the clinic! Ahhh!! We really like her! Oh well...
